Heritage Crossing

In 2007, we represented the Sewell Estate in the sale of 8-acre tract of land to Elm Street Development/Ryan Homes who built a community of 15 single homes. This parcel of ground represented the last parcel of undeveloped land purchased by Harry Matthews, a freed-slave whose farm had been subdivided over the last hundred years into the enclave community of Matthewstown, a community of homeowners with direct ancestral ties to its founder.
