Delaware Land Advisors Mission Statement

Delaware Land Advisors is dedicated to being the premier land marketing firm in the state of Delaware. Our business is to sell land in Delaware. Our business is also to provide strategic consulting for landowners. Additionally, we assist Delaware landowners by cleaning their properties of trash, scrap tires, debris, and unwanted structures, We achieve our objective by being educators to our clients before being salespeople. By having our clients understand all of their options when it comes to maintaining, preserving or developing their landholdings, we are able to serve them best.

We define ourselves by always showing our clients the highest and best use for their landholdings. We achieve this goal by explaining all of the issues that affect the value and use of property, including zoning, market cycle timing, pricing, and tax ramifications.

In order to educate our clients, we must always be augmenting our own education. Our team members hold college degrees, most hold an advance degree, and all our members are Accredited Land Consultants or Accredited Land Consultant Candidates by the Realtors Land Institute, the premier educational resource for land brokerage in North America. As an organization, we are active in professional and philanthropic groups regarding agricultural issues, land development, and land conservation.

Should a client choose to sell his or her landholdings, we will evaluate the various market factors that determine value and explain how we arrived at the valuation. We will create and share with a client our proposed marketing campaign, and we will handle the sale negotiations with an aim to obtain the highest price and best terms. As a trusted counselor to our clients, our first job is always to preserve property value while minimizing risk for the owner.

We are also there for our client when they need to consider the acquisition or disposition of an easement, participate in nutrient offset trading, act as a for fee development consultant or assist in placing a parcel of land in preservation or conservation.

The preamble to the National Association of Realtors begins under all is the land. These five words are our motto as well:  all agriculture, development, preservation or conservation pursuits requires an intimate knowledge of every aspect of land. As Delaware’s land brokerage, it is our honor to always serve our clients and our community.
